    A I'm guessing they must be 8s, but this speaker is super loud. my cousin has one he bought at the flea market and has 2 12s... this speaker blows that one out of the water on loudness and clarity. Nice deep bass. Just keep in mind its not wireless and does need to be plugged in.

  25. Q How is the bass on this speaker?
    A Overall, not disappointed in the system, it is well built and functions as designed. It is also capable of virtually full volume with little noticeable distortion. That being said, and based on reviews, I expected both bone rattling bass and extensive volume. I was somewhat disappointed in both regards. There simply is not enough wattage, nor are the actual speakers big enough for that. I have two, paired for stereo. That actually doubles the wattage since each speaker is self amplified. They have very good outdoor sound, esp with two in stereo, but temper your expectations on the bass
